"Jaw is law", sometimes written "Jaw is Law", is an expression used in the incel and lookism community to designate the idea that that one's dating success or even life experience is mostly predetermined by the form of one's jaw. The idea argues that the jaw is the most determining factor in ones attractiveness: the wider (in bigonial width) and more visible the jaw, the more attractive one is perceived, and the smaller (in bigonial width) and less visible the jaw, the more unattractive one is perceived.
