Mom's basement is the stereotypical dwelling place of NEETcels. This leads to some contradictions, as incels' critics on the one hand claim they're dangerous potential rapists and murderers, and on the other hand claim they never leave their parents' basements.

Roosh was criticized for allegedly living in his mom's basement. He clarified that he actually lives with his dad when he's in the United States.^[1]
