Wide-set eyes is when the distance between a person's eyes is substantial. It is characterized by an ESR of 0.48 and above and will significantly impact a person's looks at <0.50.
People with (overly) wide set eyes are often compared to Sid The Sloth by normies as a way to mock them.
Wide-set eyes are not always actually far apart in distance. Wide-set eyes could be the result of a compact midface or a small skull.

The only surgery able to change IPD (interpupillary distance) is orbital box osteotomy, however it's mainly performed on severely deformed children.
another way to make eyes look less distant consists in undergoing a rhinoplasty to get a wider nose, or getting a Lefort with clockwise rotation (which leads to longer midface).
