Cryptochad

A cryptochad is a chad whose chadliness is secret, to others and/or to himself. A number of men who took bad photos and got poor ratings from other men online became cryptochads; they assumed that they were destined to die as virgins. Some cryptochads also did not looksmax; e.g. for some cryptochads, simply taking off their huge, horn-rimmed glasses is enough to make them undergo a Christopher Reeve-like transformation.

A cryptochad may simply not think about handsomeness or ugliness at all, and thus never stop to ponder what category he falls into (e.g. chad-, betabuxx-, or incel-tier, in terms of looks); he may attribute his success or lack thereof with women to other factors, e.g. his nerdiness or his game.
