Pubic hair
Pubic hair can be a problem for men who have had a high circumcision, which means the scar is nearer to the base of the shaft than normal (or further away from the glans). The problem is caused if it results in a lack of skin on the shaft of the penis, thus resulting in the penis "borrowing" skin from the pubic bone region. This subsequently results in a penis that is unusually hairy on the shaft. This makes the penis look smaller. It also makes the penis look really weird, like some sort of hairy monster or something.
Pheromones are secreted from apocrine sweat glands. Compared to other areas of the body, the pubic region has a lot of these glands. Therefore, as the theory goes, pubic hair may trap pheromones, increasing how attractive we appear to potential sex partners.
