Jake Davison was a British incel, who in 2021 committed a mass shooting, killing 5 victims, including his own mother, and then himself in Plymouth (England).

He also had a YouTube channel where he vlogged about his life experiences and frustrations.

Childhood and teen years

Jake Davison was born in 1998 to a mother from Plymouth (England) and a thugmaxxed father from Shetland (small island to the north of Scotland), Jake was the youngest of 3 siblings. Shortly after he was born, his parents divorced and his 2 siblings moved with their father to Shetland, Jake would be raised by his mother in Plymouth. Jake was autistic, and as a child he was known to be a quiet kid with severe anger issues. He attended Mount Tamar School (a special needs school in the area), this made it nearly impossible for him to find a girlfriend or experience teenage roomance, since the gender ratio of his school is 15 boys per 1 girl.

In 2016, a 17-year-old Jake received a warning from police for attacking a 25 year old man and his pregnant girlfriend. It's in this period he would also make his YouTube channel, his original videos from this era are lost media, most archived videos are from 2020-2021. This is also when Jake most likely began frequenting online incel/blackpilled forums and subreddits.

Adulthood & Internet presence

By the time Jake turned 18, he was feeling immense sexual frustration for having missed out on teenage love and being unable to get sex, he would often have heated arguments with his mother. In 2017 Jake applied to own a shotgun and was accepted, one of his interests was firearms and weapons. In September 2020, at the age of 21, he attacked two teenagers in a skate park after one of them insulted him. He knocked a 16-year-old boy unconscious and slapped a 15-year-old girl. Following this incident, his shotgun licence was revoked by Devon and Cornwall Police. when Jake was about 22, he made videos on his YouTube channel named "professor waffle" (a possible reference to wheat waffles, further evidenced by the fact that he was subscribed to wheat waffles' channel), on his YouTube channel, he would talk about his sexual frustration and his inability to obtain sex, blaming it on his looks and autism. In July 2021, just weeks before the rampage, his firearms licence was reinstated after he completed a brief anger management course.

Shooting

On August 12th, 2021 Jake would end up in an argument with his mother, he would pull out his shotgun and fatally shoot her. He then decided to walk out the house and shoot a father and his 3-year-old daughter, Jake would then shoot an elderly man along the road, after walking for a few minutes and reaching a bus station, Jake shot an elderly woman stationed there. After having killed 5 people, he said to a bystander "There's nothing to worry about mate", before shooting himself in the head, ending the shooting roughly 6 minutes after it started.

The reaction to the shooting was immediate, the mainstream media blamed "incel ideology", and the term "incel" reached an all-time-high google search rate (back then) following the shooting.

The reaction to the shooting within the incelosphere was also immediate, with Youtubers like IncelTV speaking out against such actions, he was still blamed by the mainstream media, this is because Jake was subscribed to him.
