Christine Chubbuck is the most famous femcel (female involuntary celibate). She killed herself on a live television news broadcast in 1974 at the age of 29 years. It's generally suspected she did so because she couldn't find someone to be her partner. Like almost all femcels, Christine was most likely a standardcel and/or extremely shy.
The news-taping of her suicide exists on various obscure websites and archives, but it is not very spectacular due to poor video quality.
