Incelphobia
Incelphobia is a form of ableism usually characterized by hatred, fear, antagonism or aversion towards truecels, incels or nearcels. The contrary of incelphobia is incelophilia.
Incelphobia related behavior and people displaying incelphobia are deemed incelphobic, incelphobe or incelphobiac. Incelphobes usually believe in the just world fallacy, and they sometimes express this antagonism through virgin-shaming against truecels, cacophobia against uglycels, and ableism against disabledcels. Incelphobia is sometimes called incelhatred and overlaps with anti-incelism. A person who holds incephobic beliefs, is an incelphobe or incelhater.
Virgin-shaming is usually directed against males because people often subconsciously evaluate men based on their sexual success. Incelphobes justify their incelphobia by suggesting that concepts such as the blackpill or red pill are sexist, but they're silent when women such as Catherine Hakim say practically the exact same thing. The most self-conscious incels, when becoming "incel toms", sometimes parrot incelphobic behavious.
Antipathy toward incelphobes or incelphobia, or both, is called incelphobophobia.

Inceldom-experiencers (and other singletons) are sometimes discriminated against financially. In the UK, research by the Good Housekeeping Institute estimates that singletons pay £2000 more per year than married and cohabitating people on everything from car insurance, council tax, travel fares, wills and many other costs. The difference is even more lopsided in the United States wherein involuntary celibates are especially discriminated against in healthcare payments.

In its broadest sense, the usage of the term incelphobia incorporates a wide range of behaviors. in its broadest usage, incelphobia within the dating scene is referred to as nonredamancy, which means romantic rejection. Nonredamancy most prominently affects truecels and nymphocels the former because its all they ever experience, the latter because they desire a romantic or sexual outlet so much. In its broadest sense, incelphobia can come in many different forms, including cacophobia against deformed inceldom-experiencers, lookism against unattractive incels, hybristophilia against good-mannered involuntary celibates and ableism against involuntary celibates with a disability.

The term incelphobia is a portmanteau that uses "phobia" as a suffix. Since "phobia" alludes to an irrational fear, the term incelphobia only incorporates irrational forms of aversion to involuntary celibate people. Therefore this does not include a fear of individuals such as Elliot Rodger. However, inceldom-experiencers online (sometimes called cybercels or incelospherians) often face incelphobia even if they do not harbour any ill-natured tendencies. This may include gravedancing and broadbrushing, or for mancels/malecel,s issues such as androheterophobia.
Obfuscation[edit | edit source]
Among the most common traits of the incelphobe is promotion of inceldom-erasure or inceldom-invisibility. The incelphobe uses various tricks up their sleeve to ensure that public awareness about inceldom or its meaning remains obscure by the tactic of obfuscation around the definition of the word inceldom. Obfuscation is a form of gaslighting, and in the context of inceldom, involves the tendency to ignore, remove, falsify, or reexplain characteristics associated with involuntary celibates. The most flagrant example of obfuscation is the insistence that inceldom does not exist; that involuntary celibates are just imagining their loneliness and unintentional celibacy.
