Bumble
Bumble is a dating app created in 2014 by Whitney Wolfe Herd, a former Tinder employee. The app was founded following a dispute she had where she alleged that one of the company's co-founders (and her ex boyfriend), Justin Mateen, had sexually harassed her. Due to her perceived mistreatment, she aimed to make her company as "pro-woman" as possible, the app has been described by many as a "feminist dating app".
Bumble functions much like Tinder, but unlike Tinder, it is openly gynocentric in the way it operates, if a match is made, the woman needs to initiate a conversation within 24 hours, or else the match will be deleted. this functionality was added so that women can choose to only have conversations with the men they want. The app has many other features that only benefit women, reflecting the gynocentric worldview of the founder. On a more positive note, only ~65.5% (2/3) of Bumble's userbase is male, a comparatively more favorable ratio than Tinder's ~75.8% (3/4), this is likely a result of Bumble's unfavorable system which discourages many men from installing the app.
It should go without saying, but Bumble is obviously not recommended for incel or nearcel men.
