Alan Ray Williams, known online as BasedShaman, is a YouTuber best known for making commentary videos on the incel community–particularly Elliot Rodger. In 2017, he became the first YouTuber to bring large amounts of attention to Marshall Mathers the 4th, an incel vlogger who would become a prominent figure in the community in the coming years.
