Male disposability is society's treatment of men as a waste product in dating, marriage, doctor's offices, female-on-male domestic abuse, government policy on war, job choice, workplace safety, pay, child custody, and effective suicide prevention. Treating men as a utility, as a source of provision for women and society at large to such a degree that it causes massive harm to men. The counterpart of male disposability is female privilege.

In a sexual context[edit | edit source]

Male disposability may also refer to sexual sublimation, where the man's only sexual value arises from his utility in society. Phrases that encourage sexual sublimation and male disposabiliy include making fun of poor men as, "scrubs".
