Virgin shaming is the practice of shaming virgins for no reason other than the fact that they are virgins. It may be used by some as a form of incelphobia but this is not always the case, as many virgin shamers like to make fun of virgins but may not know what an incel is, and more of them love to make fun of virgins even if they do not identify as incels.
Virgin shaming is a tactic commonly used by roasties, especially in an argument. They love to preach about how slut shaming is bad and misogynistic, and in the same breath make a remark that boils down to “lol you’re a virgin”.
