Joseph Strickland (born February 20, 1991), also known as Joseph8276 (nicknamed The Beast), is a Canadian former YouTuber and rapper best known for his videos in the late 2000s and early 2010s, discussing his discontentment with modern women, society, and "swag". He became a lolcow in the coming years for the unintentional levels of cringeworthy phrases and actions displayed in his content. His weight, unlikeability, and entitlement became a focal center of ridicule for many people on the internet, to a point where he had to continuously delete videos and content as trolls began affecting his personal day-to-day livelihood. Despite not being a self-described incel, his videos complaining about women lumped him into that distinction by default.
Sometime in the late 2010s, he was arrested for possession of child pornography. In the coming years, his videos have been subjects of commentary by YouTubers such as BasedShaman and SwearfoGod, among others.
