Chateau Heartiste is a blog run by James C. Weidmann (aka Roissy in D.C.) that promoted pick-up artistry and increasingly white nationalism, especially during the run up to the 2016 presidential election, where Weidmann touted (then future) U.S President Donald Trump as a prime example of an Alpha Male and potential advocate of the interests of white americans, despite the proprietor of the blogs rumoured Jewish ancestry.
this blog was a "hotspot" in the Manosphere and in Red pill communities in general.
James usually used old redpill tropes that are often rejected by advocates of the Blackpill, however he did note importance of looks in female mate selection, he claimed that mastery of 'game' could allow a male to date up in SMV by 2 points.
The blog was banned by wordpress as of May 2019. [1]
