"This observation is in line with women's passive sexuality"[edit source]

Baumeister was commenting on female sex drive, ie who they desire, not just who they submit to in a patriarchal context. He devotes like a tiny paragraph to the idea that female submission could be why they are flexible but ends up spending more time on other reasons.William (talk) 20:29, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

Likely because it isn't PC. Bibipi (talk) 20:31, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

Drive vs reception[edit source]

Previous edits implied Baumeister was writing about female sexual receptivity/submission when Roy was mainly writing about female sex drive. Previous edts were trying to conflate 'Women submit to society', one of Roy's points, with 'women are forever passive', a common tradcon rally that doesn't make any meaningful horizontal sense.William (talk) 19:31, 10 May 2020 (UTC)

In fact, implying 'women are forever passive' to anything except society is the complete opposite of Roy's points hereWilliam (talk) 19:34, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
