==Orphaned Pages==
Pages like were [[Alvin Krolik]] and [[Andreas Lubitz]], [[Apex Fallacy]] were only accessible via categories before I linked them for you. New pages should have at least one or two body or "see also" links outside category pages, especially if the associated category page isn't linked on the main Incel Wiki page.
The Category pages aren't popular ways of navigating the wiki generally, and will become less popular as the list of categories become unwieldy and tangled.  All pages should be connected in body and see also links, regardless if they are in templates or categories.  Else they create their own orphaned page universes.

==New Page Names==
It's helpful when adding a new page to include parentheses if it's just a common dictionary word like: 'Passengers'.  So instead of 'Passengers' ---> 'Passengers (Movie).  Helps me not have to reprogram the bots running on this wiki more and gives the wiki room for expansion.  Nice job so far guys [[User:William|William]] ([[User talk:William|talk]]) 19:46, 31 October 2018 (UTC)

It seems that a new algorithm has been inserted into the google search engine that lowers the page ranking of this wiki. Only a few weeks ago this wiki was in 3rd spot in search returns for the term "incel wiki". Now its not even nearby. :the owner of the gTLDs .info and .me (Afilias) dropped incels.me recently.  i dont own the server or the domain name for this site but i was told it was switched away from '''incels.info to incels.wiki (take note of that URL change if you look at your URL navigation bar)''' without reason given.  should take a while to replace the old site on google SEO, but itll replace soon.  Also im starting a wikipedia alternative thatll be up soon at tome.is but will actually be under my control unlike this site, which ill still work on now and again [[User:William|William]] ([[User talk:William|talk]]) 12:32, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
==New Writers==
See updated guidelines from this month.  The main goal of the wiki is entertainment and accuracy, not just accuracy.  Humour and playfulness is highly encouraged.  "Spreading" any pill is highly discouraged outside the [[scientific blackpill]] page.  It is great to have studies cited in the broader wiki, but that is not the point of every page.  E.g. the [[buttmogging]] page never needs to have scientific citation. This is something some editors do not like, this was the vision in the past and it's the vision going forward.
Also given this is not a paid or serious project, no one has the energy for edit wars... Try to avoid BOLD edits to other people's non-stub writing, which Wikipedia encourages because it is a serious project with paid staff and non-paid editors that get socially rewarded by using Wikipedia as a resume builder.  No one here is paid enough or rewarded enough to moderate edit wars.  Avoid them.  Add to pages. If an intractable split in an article occurs, split the article, do not merge two conflicting articles.  If edit wars continue, bans will occur.  You can rewrite or move stubs within reason, but avoid doing it on start-class and higher rated articles.
If you are someone who does not like the wiki outside of the scientific blackpill page, then you are encouraged on starting your own blackpill wiki.  Someone asked me what is the purpose of starting a blackpill wiki when the incel wiki already exists?  Because this wiki does not subscribe to any pills.  That's why.  Start your own wiki if you do not like this wiki.  Lots of people like the wiki, check our twitter if you do not believe me.

==Humor articles==
A lot of conflict seems to arise from humor articles.  Because humor often takes sides and is often not just descriptive, and is often not scientific.  Humor articles are allowed but there are no formal rules about them.  But I suppose I can formulate a basic guideline. If the page is about a ''meme'' or lingo not used in scientific journals, then there is a lot of leeway as far as lack of descriptiveness etc ''as long as the page is funny or popular''.  Some humor pages are neither funny, nor popular.  In general I"ve given :User:TheBreeze room to make funny articles, because ''he is funny''.  [[User:William|William]] ([[User talk:William|talk]]) 13:24, 24 November 2019 (UTC)

==Why the wiki is the way it is, how it came into being, and the future==
It was created by Master and me in PM chats in early 2018.
For those 2-3 new wiki editors.  Wanted to explain to people how this wiki came into existence.  It came into existence to push back on the innaccurate broad narratives about incels, including the narrative that incels are blackpillers, or that incels are all white, or that incels are a death cult or an organized group etc
So the most valued material on the wiki, as you can tell by the composition of the wiki as it exists, are the material that pushes back on media narratives about incels and also endears people to incels.  Those are things that are valuable to those who made this wiki.  The SB article was a separate project as described in our [[Incel_Wiki:About|About]] page and Twitter for years, and recently we have been talking of separating it into it's own wiki, and allowing people who came to the wiki because of the SB (Scientific Blackpill) article and not the wiki itself to continue whatever it is they are trying to do.
Almost all the material on here was written by myself and TheBreeze.  Most of the people who worked on the SB page have been banned over the years, which is not surprising because they joined because of a separate project that was created way after the start of this wiki, and did not have respect for the goals and intention of this wiki, which was to present incel as a life circumstance instead of a philosophy.

==Admin transfer==
After co-creating and adminning for 2 years, adminship of this wiki was peacefully transferred from me to [[Altmark22]] in a mutually agreed compromise btw creators of the wiki and the one who foots the bill.  Altmark now handles sign-ups and related admin stuff for this particular wiki.  Please go to him for sign-up info, through the chat room on the main page or through his talk page here.  This wiki never really had more than 1-2 active editors at a time, so this isn't a cattle call, but just a notice of an end to various drama that occurred on here in April.  This wiki also forked into 3-4 other wikis in the midst of the drama, but we won't be advertising them prominently here to avoid sparking up drama again and to be consistent with how we dealt with previous forks.[[User:William|William]] ([[User talk:William|talk]]) 20:36, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
