'''Braincels''', or, '''/r/braincels''',  was a [[blackpilled]] [[involuntary celibate]] community hosted on [[Reddit]]. It was often stereotyped as an [[alt-right]] forum run by "angry White males", but Whites were actually [[Demographics#Race|underrepresented]] and the community was very politically diverse.

 

Braincels was watched over by [[Blackops2cel|Saint Blackops2cel]]. The community was more raucous than [[incelistan.net]] and a bit more calm than [[incels.co]].  Before it got banned by Reddit in September 30th 2019, it was the largest incel "forum".  The current replacement board is [https://Braincels.org Braincels.org].

The subreddit had around 2 to 3 posts per minute and a huge amount of [[lurker|lurkers]]. Braincels produced more lighthearted and tongue-in-cheek content compared to other incel communities. It largely consisted of memes in support of the [[blackpill]] and [https://www.reddit.com/r/IncelTears/comments/917t15/do_not_fall_for_bait/ baits] for [[/r/inceltears|/r/IncelTears]]. Even though often stereotyped as being occupied by "angry White males", Braincels was highly racially diverse with especially Asians and Indians being overrepresented (see [[Demographics#Race|Demographics § Race]]).
