Women in STEM: Difference between revisions

Feminists hold up various female programmers such as Margaret Hamilton, as examples of women being pioneers in STEM.  These feminists usually don't elaborate on how this applies to any large portion of women.  Nor do feminists acknowledge that programming as well as any other type of engineering are often seen as "lower" forms of science.<ref>http://www.bu.edu/eng/about/dean-lutchen/engineering-is-not-science/</ref>
