Jordan has been fairly critical when it comes to incels who have committed violence. He gave a positive nod to incels on the Joe Rogan podcast.  On the podcast he repeated a talking point earlier used by left-wing cultural critic Angela Nagle, white nationalist Roger Devlin, and American bishop Erastus Otis Haven: "the breakdown of monogamy has strong correlation with inceldom".

Peterson claims that in order to prevent cultural dissolution, humans need an overarching goal such as economic growth or religious/transcendental goals.
To avoid corrupted hierarchies, he claims, it is necessary to keep them fairly flat (decentralization) and use regulated free market, such that the players best prevails and inefficient and corrupt players get outcompeted by better ones. He sees boundaries and social rules as fundamental for a functioning social system, but admits there also needs to be some adaptability and flow of information (free speech) to avoid a totalitarian state (classical liberalism).
