Among female millennials for the survey years 2016 and 2018 combined, there fewer incels, only 15% (N = 330, 95% CI: 11%, 19%), which is significantly different from men (X² = 5.867, p = 0.0154), likely because women get into relationships earlier in their prime years, and possibly due to a slight increase in open relationships, polyamory and other forms of de facto polygamy.
