Blackpill: Difference between revisions

In the [[manosphere]], the blackpill refers to a collection of uncomfortable truths about dating and social life.  It may also refer to fatalist and biological essentialist beliefs about dating. Particularly, that qualities relevant for attracting a partner such as physical appearance and personality are mostly innate, natural 'essence' or otherwise largely predetermined, and hence mostly outside of one's control. Solving men's dating problems today is hence thought to require systemic changes more so than individual changes, however blackpillers differ on what these changes can or should entail. The term has also frequently been employed to broadly refer to nihilism or defeatism outside the context of human sexual/social relationships.
