Self-identified incels differ on whether or not culture can be changed without evolutionary adaptations to solve systemic dating issues for men outlined above.  Some argue only evolutionary adaptations can change peoples sexual proclivities (which would take thousands or millions of years, selective breeding or genetic engineering).  Social darwinist blackpillers tend to promote fatalism during advocation of [[incelicide]].  Other blackpillers use the blackpill to mean fatalism due to a belief in [[biological essentialism]].  However, not all blackpillers are social darwinists or biological essentialists and therefore do not use the term to mean fatalism, and do not have prescriptivist implications in their use of the term blackpill.  Others expect a return to traditional sex roles and emphasis on marriage and monogamy may not be a solution for everyone, but could at least improve the situation greatly.
