Criticism
Some have said that the blackpill specifically cherry-picks discouraging studies on dating, leaving a skewed version of the world.  Some also accuse blackpillers of sadism and sociopathy, foisting their suicideality on others by encouraging a culture of hopelessness.
Another common criticism is that discouraging scientific studies are used as a smokescreen for an underlying philosophy of exterminism of incels or male supremacy.
There are also those who do not like the baggage associated with the term.  Due to the original definition of the term having an origin in biological essentialism, those 'blackpilled' in the modern sense, but opposed to biological essentialism may prefer the term 'sexual realism' to 'blackpill'.
