==Criticism==
Some have said that the blackpill specifically cherry-picks discouraging studies on dating, leaving a skewed version of the world.  Some also accuse blackpillers of sadism and sociopathy, foisting their suicideality on others by encouraging a culture of hopelessness.
There are also those who do not like the baggage associated with the term.  Due to the original definition of the term having an origin in [[biological essentialism]], those 'blackpilled' in the modern sense, but opposed to [[biological essentialism]] may prefer the term 'sexual realism' to 'blackpill'.
