A lion is a beast often viewed by PUAs and redpillers as the epitome of an alpha in a jungle setting (in contrast to the alpha wolf of a forest, steppe, or arctic setting). Sam Hyde, whilst sitting on a dilapidated staircase, exhorts his followers, for example, to "be an alpha legend [belch] like myself. A lion."
