There exist many examples of inceldom in popular culture.

Examples[edit | edit source]

  • Rogue from the comic series X-men;
  • serial number KD6-3.7, later known as Joe, from the film Blade Runner;
  • Kyle Reese, from the film Terminator. KD6-3.7 ends up deincelizing towards the end of the film, but only as an escortcel. Throughout the film, he functions as a digisexual, by having a sexbot as a girlfriend, presumably from the viewers perspective, due to inceldom. Kyle Reese similarly functioned as an incel in his own timeline, as he only deincelized when travelling back in time.
  • Steve Carrel's character in The 40 Year-Old Virgin
