Sympathy

Sympathy means having pity for someone's misfortune. Involuntary celibates are most likely to lack sympathy in the Anglosphere. In the western world they also receive less sympathy than their counterparts in the non-western world. This has several causes, including Catholicisms' legacy of instilling and encouraging asexual behaviour in allosexuals, societies tolerance of ableism and the prevalence of feminism which has brought along androheterophobia with it.
