==Boomers and children==
==Boomers and millenials==

Boomers see children both as an expression of their love towards their partner and as pets, ie a direction and source of direct emotional affection, to be given free reign within their own system.  Because of this hyperfocus on direct emotional affection rather than other forms of support, we see children of boomers receiving little to no financial/material support or direction.  This may partly explain the socialist/capitalist divide between millennial and boomers today.
