Sind Singles anders als die anderen? : ein Vergleich von Singles und Paaren (which could be translated as 'Are singles different from the others?: a comparison of singles and couples') is a psychology dissertation written in 2000 by Beate Küpper; it explores the causes of "involuntary singles", as opposed to "voluntary singles". It was later published in book form by academic publisher Research Hogrefe under the title Sind Singles anders?. Ein Vergleich von Singles und Paaren Reihe: Brennpunkte der Persönlichkeitsforschung.
The Psychology dissertation took place at The Faculty of Psychology of the Ruhr University Bochum.[1]
