Obov

Obov is a popular Taiwanese BBS poster who is credited by Taiwanese feminist media for energizing self-identified Sow Believers, or men who criticise women for desiring economically productive men.

Obov is sort of the Taiwanese equivalent of Azavii (former admin of r/incels) or blackops2cel in that the Sow Believers jokingly refer to him as wise.

Catch phrases

Catch phrases that Obov is said to have coined became popular in Taiwanese BBS boards, including:

• "Sow, sow, crying at night"

and

• "You reap what you sow"

Identity

Many Taiwanese bloggers claim to have identified Obov as an Apple employee living in California.. However, this is not fully substantiated.
