Negative XP
Negative XP is a the pseudonym of an American singer-songwriter who has mainly contributed to the punk rock genre, although he has also been known to create music belonging to other genres as well. Not much is known about Negative XP as he has kept his identity undisclosed, although he has garnered a significant following on music-sharing websites. As of May 2024, he has a following of 25,000 people on SoundCloud and 130,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
Despite Negative XP rejecting the "Incelcore" label that has been given to his music by various critics, it remains undisputable that many of his lyrics resonate with Incels. His most well-known song, "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World Ruined A Whole Generation Of Women", mocks the "alt-girl"/"e-girl" aesthetic commonly seen on college campuses and social media. This song in particular, which has amassed 20 million plays on Spotify, has been often criticized as being "misogynist" and as one critic put it, "oozing hatred and frustration towards women".
