Talk:Vincent van Gogh

Van Gogh probably didn't kill himself. It was more likely an accidental homicide by a teenager he was acquainted with, who was known to carry a gun. Also, the vast majority of people who commit suicide by gun aim for the head. The angle at which Van Gogh was shot would've required him to hold his weapon at an extremely awkward angle, and would've left black powder marks on his hands. Van Gogh certainly welcomed death, but calling his death a suicide is inaccurate.
