Many genetic researchers have attempted to infer Genghis Khan's haplogroup to determine how many living descendants he and his ancestors have. Zerjal et al. Considering the most reproductively successful man's behavior. Women and or men's attraction to [[dark triad]] traits in the opposite sex, is a rational [[reproductive success|reproductively strategy]] to produce hi fertility sons. Even if most of these sons within a dark triad  population ends up a [[GDE|genetic failure]], the one or few sons that succeed make up for the losses.
