A protocel is a tween who is too young to be put into the [[inceldom spectrum]] but has some early warning signs. A protocel is named as such because they have some of the characteristics that put them at risk of entering the inceldom spectrum in the future, such as being very short, living in a prudishly erotophobic household consisting of a single helicopter parent, and being autistic.
A protocel is someone who has experienced [[inceldom]] prior to the the [[incelosphere]] age. The incelosphere age began more or less in the 1990s, therefore anyone experiencing perpetual [[nonredamancy]] during the 1980s would qualify as a protocel. Notable examples include [[Christine Chubbuck]], [[Ludwig van Beethoven]] and [[Nicola Tesla]].
