Noviophobia is a term coined by protocel Christine Weston Chandler. The term refers to the fear of a woman whom one seeks a relationship with already having a boyfriend.
Etymology[edit | edit source]
The term derives from novio, the Spanish word for boyfriend, and the Greek word φόβος (phóbos) meaning fear.
