The Clark Theorem is an internet adage that posits that the further one scrolls through online photos of a female poster, the greater the chances of encountering a photo of her with applied nail polish on both or either her upper or lower extremities. As nail polish is one of the most frequently recognized symbols of Western feminine gender norms, the theorem serves to prove that Western feminine gender expression is exhibited almost ubiquitously by female members of society.
