Ruan Fangfu (aka Fang Fu Ruan) is a scholar of Taoist believes in ancient China. He courageously documented their wisdoms.
In addition to overviews, he also specifically cited some of Liangpi's and Sanfeng's publications pre-1900s.

Molleen Matsumura collaborated to help him create Sex in China. Both lived in California around 1991 when it was published. It was reprinted in 2013.
Ruan worked in the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco.
Molleen worked in the Alin Foundation Institute in Berkeley.
