By including this public figure on this wiki, we are not necessarily implying they are incel (involuntarily celibate) or are in any way associated with incels. Furthermore, with regards to any actual incels listed on this wiki, inceldom is a life circumstance, not an insult or a movement/community.

Sir Isaac Newton (25 December 1642 – 20 March 1726/27) was an English mathematician and physicist. Some members of the incelosphere regard him as protocel, although not too much is known about his sex life.

Sex life[edit | edit source]

Newton have have been engaged once, but he never married.[1] The French philosopher Voltaire said that he "was never sensible to any passion, was not subject to the common frailties of mankind, nor had any commerce with women—a circumstance which was assured me by the physician and surgeon who attended him in his last moments".

The widespread belief that he died a virgin has been commented on by various writers, physicists and mathematicians.[1] Remarking on Newton's interpersonal relationships (or lack thereof) writer Aldous Huxley wrote: "If we evolved a race of Isaac Newtons, that would not be progress. For the price Newton had to pay for being a supreme intellect was that he was incapable of friendship, love, fatherhood, and many other desirable things. As a man he was a failure; as a monster he was superb."
